Jamie Webb is an experienced adviser, strategist and social impact leader who has spent 20 years working at the intersection of philanthropy, global development, social innovation and multi-stakeholder collaboration. His career spans senior roles in international NGOs, foundations, global networks and purpose-driven organisations, with a consistent focus on helping leaders and families deploy their resources to create meaningful, sustainable and long-term impact.
Jamie serves as the Managing Director of the Global Philanthropists Circle at Synergos, a global organisation dedicated to bridging divides and accelerating solutions to poverty, inequality and systemic challenges. The Global Philanthropists Circle, set up by Peggy Dulany and her late father David Rockefeller Senior, supports hundreds of multi-generational wealth holders from 80 families spanning 30 countries to achieve greater impact and effectiveness in their philanthropy and impact investments. Jamie also supports the Canadian-based Palix Foundation with their UK strategy, is a non-family board member for the Young-Nilsson Foundation and trustee of the Armed Services Trauma and Rehabilitation Outcome Study, which is a long-term medical study investigating both the physical and psycho-social outcomes of battlefield casualties.
Earlier in his career, Jamie held leadership roles for The Prince’s (now King’s) Trust, the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Help for Heroes. He helped set up the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, which is the legacy charity of the late Queen. And he has advised several family foundations, NGOs and charitable organisations in a wide variety of impact fields. He has built cross-sector collaborations, supported large-scale social impact programmes and helped mission-driven organisations raise their strategic ambition and operational capability. His experience includes strategy development, fundraising, stakeholder alignment, partnership building and impact-focused programme design.
Jamie’s work is grounded in a belief that effective philanthropy requires clarity, humility and a deep understanding of the systems families seek to influence. He brings a calm, thoughtful and practical approach to helping families explore where they can make a genuine difference, how to engage different generations in giving, and how to build philanthropic structures that reflect their values and endure over time. His career has been shaped by extensive international experience and long-standing involvement in philanthropy networks.
Jamie holds an MSc in Philanthropy, Grantmaking and Social Investment from Bayes Business School, City University of London and a BA (Hons) in International Relations. Jamie lives in the UK and divides his time between advising families, developing strategic partnerships and supporting organisations committed to positive and lasting change.
