Soumik Bandyopadhyay is an experienced finance leader and strategic adviser with more than 35 years of global experience across corporate finance, risk management, financial services, private enterprise and emerging technologies. He has held senior roles in Europe, the Middle East and India, working with multinational companies, high-growth businesses and family-owned enterprises on complex financial, operational and strategic challenges.
Soumik’s career began in corporate finance and investment analysis before progressing into senior financial leadership roles that spanned financial planning, operational excellence, commercial strategy and business transformation. His experience includes driving large-scale finance function redesigns, managing international P&L responsibilities, establishing governance and reporting frameworks, and supporting organisations as they scale across new markets and jurisdictions. He has worked closely with founders, boards, family offices and C-suite executives on strategic planning, capital allocation and long-term organisational resilience.
He has also held leadership roles in the manufacturing, distribution and real estate sectors. His work has consistently focused on combining rigorous financial discipline with practical operational insight, helping organisations navigate uncertainty and make decisions with confidence.
Alongside his corporate career, Soumik has been involved in advising high-growth technology ventures and innovation-led businesses, supporting founders and leadership teams on scaling strategy, financial structuring and sustainable growth. His experience across both established organisations and entrepreneurial ventures enables him to guide clients with a balanced, pragmatic perspective.
As Head of Finance, Operations and Strategy at Charles Park Family Office, Soumik supports families and principals in assessing and understanding risks, building appropriate structures, systems and insight required to manage those risks while operating effectively across multiple jurisdictions and with multiple generations. His work includes risk architecture, finance and operational design, performance management, scenario planning and strategic decision support. He works closely with family office leaders to create long-term frameworks that bring clarity, efficiency and cohesion to their operations.
Soumik is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Cost Accountant (ICMAI) and brings strong analytical depth and a global perspective to his work. Based in India, he divides his time between client advisory work, shaping operational strategy for Charles Park, and supporting the continued growth of the firm.
