Andrew Bates is Chief Executive Officer of AES Private Wealth & Family Office, where he leads the delivery of bespoke private wealth management and family office services to successful individuals, corporate clients and global families across the MENA region and beyond.
Based in Dubai, Andrew brings over 33 years of international private banking and wealth management experience, having led client-facing teams across the Isle of Man, South Africa, the UK, UAE and Asia.
He spent 21 years with Nedbank Private Wealth, most recently as Head of the Middle East and Asia, where he was instrumental in helping UHNW and internationally mobile families navigate complex financial lives.
Prior to Nedbank, Andrew held senior positions at Lloyds Banking Group for 12 years. His expertise spans investment strategy, trust and estate planning, cross-border wealth structuring, and intergenerational governance.
Andrew holds an MBA from London Business School and is committed to creating clarity in complex financial lives through institutional-grade investing, intelligent planning and fiduciary advice.
